Robert Phillips, M.Mus, MCP, CCTP, RCC. My professional goal is to provide a non-judgmental and open heart to my clients, so that they may feel comfortable to fully investigate their potential for growth. Fundamentally, too, I believe that openness and creativity in the therapeutic process are paramount to success. Whether you are passing through a life transition, facing depression or anxiety, battling addiction, or simply feeling stuck, I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey and to discovering new ways to cope.

Human beings already have the necessary tools and resources to tackle what life presents, and it is only in the absence of a therapeutic relationship that these resources are kept from awareness. It takes real courage to face the challenges of life head-on. Contacting a mental health practitioner is worthy of admiration. I hold a Master of Counselling from Adler University in Vancouver, and I am an RCC with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#16632). Whether it is the person-centred approach, cognitive-behavioural therapy, or some other technique that fits best, I believe we can find new ways of being that will work for you.

Through processing and beginning to challenge these beliefs, I seek to help my clients feel more empowered and confident in establishing and maintaining their relationship with themselves and others.

I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I approach counselling from a person-centred, family systems and attachment-informed perspective.
